Quepos has the best group at Adobe! Their whole crew was very helpful when I needed them. Drove me to SJO airport from Manuel Antionio on a very late Saturday night. Even stopped at Subway for me. They go above and beyond in customer service! I wouldn’t rent from anyone else in Costa Rica. Pure Vida.

Because of their honesty and up front pricing, I rent exclusively from Adobe when I'm in Costa Rica. Their staff is well trained and the rates they quote do not change when you land and enter their office to pick up your car. When they sent me a personal email confirming my rental, I asked if they could put surf racks on the vehicle for me since I was bringing boards. No problem, they told me. When I arrived, the suv was ready to go with racks. The cars they rent are newer vehicles with no physical defects and are clean. I always feel safe taking their vehicles all over the country. Give these guys a try - they do a great job.

We've rented from Adobe multiple times in the last few months and have had fantastic experiences with them! The cars have been nice, the service has been fantastic. They've been very flexible and worked with us when we needed to change our reservation. When possible, they drop off the car or pick it up from you.

After doing lots of searching decided to go with this company and was not disappointed. They are likely one of the only rental companies in CR that is upfront and clear about any extra charges and the online quote is a direct reflection of the final price.

Highly recommend!! When my husband and I traveled to Costa Rica, we were so worried about booking through most of the car rental places, including the ones at the airport because many people told us about extra fees that were not included in the quote until they got there. Adobe is excellent at keeping everything transparent and has NO HIDDEN FEES. They have an amazing shuttle service to/from the airport and were also really flexible to change our pickup when our flight was delayed a whole day! 10/10 would use again.

We had a great experience with Adobe from booking to actually receiving and using our car. We picked it up from one site and Adobe was willing to pick the car up from our hotel after we drove across the country (Ruben was able to meet us at our last stop and made returning the car painless!) We may have paid slightly more than other budget car rental services but they had no hidden fees and we had peace of mind while driving our car in a foreign country that they would be willing to help if something went wrong. I would hands down use Adobe again if we needed a rental car in Costa Rica!

I wouldn’t choose any other rental car company when I come back to Costa Rica other than Adobe. They were polite, professional, friendly and made me feel very comfortable. They didn’t try to charge us any extra than the quoted price and gave us an option for maximum insurance without being pushy. We also got a brand new car to drive with only 23km on it! Thank you for such a great experience for our first time renting a car in Costa Rica.

This is a non-typical rental agency that was recommended to us by locals. While it isn’t a Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, etc, I highly recommend their services. Their process is smooth, professional and polite. They advertise their fees upfront (no hidden additional insurance cost at the counter) so you know what your total price is when you make your reservation. Perhaps one of the best things they offer that may not be well advertised is their “car-wifi” for (approx $22/day). Highly recommend choosing this option! It is actually a portable wifi that you can carry anywhere you go, even outside of the car. We were happy to see it worked in remote areas like the Arenal volcano hike and in Nicaragua.

The best service I’ve ever gotten from any car rental. We reserved online, had it dropped off on time at our hotel. Car is new and in great condition. Competitive pricing! Never using anything else in CR!

Just a shame the car hire is so expensive. No hassle returning the car, they checked it around all four sides and inside.
When dropping the car back mid day, they had plenty of shuttles to run us back to the airport. Also, inside the office is wonderfully cool Aircon.

Lovely staff, no waits for the shuttle and a brand new, very clean car — it was a wonderful experience. 10/10 recommend.

They are great and super helpful. Easy to pick up the car, everything was explained perfectly. When we had a problem they immediately helped us. Gregory was amazing, highly recommend them.

I cannot stress enough how happy we are with this place. After our car rental at Alamo fell through, Anthony at adobe went above and beyond at making sure we weren’t stranded. He had a car brought to us from Limon helped entertain our very tired almost 2 year old and gave us good advice on restaurants while we waited for the car to arrive. We were slightly nervous about putting a hold on our debit card but there were no “hidden fees” and our full hold was returned. Adobe has found a loyal customer!

Rented a car with them for 9 days. Have to wait for a shuttle at the airport that takes you to the rental location about 5-10 min away from the airport. Were welcomed by the staff where they walk you through the various insurance options. They pointed out that I could use my credit card insurance for the rental car which ended up making the rate lower than I paid online. Return was easy and there were no hidden charges after the fact. Will rent with them again

Get back before sunset as there is potential danger if you stay out at night . Daytime travel is worry free and good. Roads are good except the highway from SanJose to Lemon. Lemon is a bit weird and not so clean . We have trouble finding the Adobe rep inside the airport because there is none but just you exit you’ll see a guy standing with a big sign just outside and his transport van was right there too . It took about ten minutes to get to their location but the what disappointed me was the time it took to complete all the forms. It took over 20 mins to complete the formalities and we had been traveling for over 16 hours changing two flights to get there . We were given a mid size Hyundai with 76000 miles on it and I was very scared all the time if this car would be okay but it was good through the two week trip . It had two faults. Radio switch kept popping out and gas would not fill up right up to full top . I explained this to the guy when we returned the car and they were very understanding. The return process was very good and made up for the delayed we experienced at the arrival.
The staff were so good that they put us into their transit van and sent us to the airport within 10 mins. We choose to rent Wi-Fi service from them for approx $120 and it was god sent because we could use our phones on Wi-Fi with data turned off . No need to get another sim from this country. We also bought all the insurances to cover for any damage and we had none whatsoever as we tended to park a bit further from other cars. There were no arguments upon returning the car and no surprises which is what a customer needs . Overall very happy and please do rent the wifi and if you are traveling from Limon to San Jose the road works are all the way and make sure you fill up before you get to the mountains near San Jose as the hill climb is close to two hours and there are no gas stations. Good staff at this location.

Adobe was an easy, straightforward and honest rental car experience. In a country filled with car rental horror stories, Adobe is a shining light. The pricing was up front, the vehicle was excellent and the return was easy. They drove me back to my nearby hotel right after dropping off. Most importantly what they said they would charge, they did. No surprises. I used the link through mytanfeet to receive a small discount, a second driver and a cooler (which we used a lot). I would not rent from anyone else in CR.
