Adobe’s “beginning on” system
Don’t worry if you need your rental car early in the morning. Adobe Rent a Car offers a “beginning on” system: we deliver your vehicle from 4:00 p.m. the day before, by prior arrangement and at no additional cost. The rental period starts counting at 8:00 a.m. the following day.
Rental car delivery to your premises or the airport
To better serve your team, we can deliver and pick up vehicles at your company’s premises, subject to location, schedule and operational availability. If you need the vehicle at the Juan Santamaría Airport (Alajuela) or the Daniel Oduber Quirós Airport (Liberia), check the options with our Reservations Department.
Your company can also pay at one Adobe office and have an employee pick up the vehicle at another, through our remote delivery procedure, with prior coordination and authorization.
If you’d like to pick up your vehicle at one office and return it to another, the rental must last at least three days and a one-way fee applies. Ask our Reservations Department for the rates.
Additional driver
As part of our corporate benefits, clients with a current agreement are entitled to one additional driver at no cost, as long as the driver is included in the purchase order and meets Adobe Rent a Car’s requirements. The additional driver must be present when the vehicle is picked up to validate their driver’s license and be registered in the rental agreement.
Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot rentals
Terms:
- Connects up to 10 devices at the same time.
- Data-only service, at an approximate speed of 6 MB.
- Works wherever there is a cell phone signal; some mountainous areas may have brief signal interruptions.
- Subject to availability. Reserve your Wi-Fi Hotspot in advance.
Other services
The use of infant car seats or boosters is mandatory in Costa Rica for all children under 12 years of age. Contact our Reservations Department for more information at reservas@adobecar.com.

Specialized roadside assistance
We work with preselected, specialized suppliers to provide roadside assistance to our customers. Rest assured that Adobe is ready to deliver fast and reliable roadside assistance throughout the country, including:
- Tow truck service in the event of an accident or mechanical failure.
- Taxi service or private transportation to your next destination to ensure trip continuity.
- Basic onsite assistance in the event of battery failure.
- Locksmith service if you left your keys inside the car.
- Ambulance service in the event of a medical emergency due to an accident.
- Service 24 hours a day.
- Attention provided by a bilingual telephone operator.

Preferential corporate rates throughout the year
With a corporate agreement, your company gets preferential rates all year round, with additional savings in low season.
The most comprehensive coverage option
In addition to Basic Insurance (Third Party Liability and Vehicle Protection, with a US$1,130 deductible including tax), you can add Extended Protection (SPP), which reduces deductibles to US$0 and extends liability up to US$2,000,000 per event.
Corporate points program
Clients with an agreement have access to a points program exclusive to businesses.
Minimum rental period
The minimum rental period is one day (24 hours). If you return the vehicle to a different office from the one where you picked it up, the rental must last at least three days.
How can my company opt for the corporate program?
If your company needs rental cars frequently, email ventas@adobecar.com or call +506 2542-4800 to request a corporate proposal. Specific benefits may vary according to the signed agreement.
What if my company needs a line of credit?
To apply for credit, complete the application and submit the required documents, including copies of the business’s legal entity and legal representative documents (personería jurídica and representante legal). Financial statements may be requested depending on the case. Our Credit and Collections Department evaluates the application, and your assigned sales representative will notify you of the result, the approved amount and the credit terms. Once approved, your employees can use the agreement with a purchase order, which replaces the security deposit.
