Adobe Rent a Car has 16 offices strategically located throughout the country. Our Adobe headquarters is located in downtown San José. We also have offices serving Costa Rica’s two International Airports. The Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) Office in Alajuela, and our Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) Office in Liberia.

The rest of our offices are located in popular locations near the country’s in-country airports.

You can arrange to have your Adobe car rental waiting for you when you land for an additional fee. Or you can pick it up at the Adobe Office nearby.

Costa Rica’s Caribbean Coast is home to dense rainforests, river canals, and mangrove waterways. It is also home to some of the most picture-perfect tropical beaches, coral reefs, and world-class surfing.

South of the bustling port town of Limon is where most of the Caribbean’s famous beaches are found. Many are located within national parks and wildlife refuges. These include the white-sand beaches of Cahuita National Park and the Gandoca Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge.

Costa Rica’s entire landmass is just over 51,000 square kilometers. Despite its size, this tiny republic is considered one of the most biodiverse countries on earth.

An unfaltering dedication to environmental preservation has made Costa Rica a world leader in ecological sustainability. Today, nearly 25% of the country is a national park, wildlife refuge, or reserve.

According to recent counts, Costa Rica has 25 national parks, 58 wildlife refuges, 32 protected zones,15 wetland/mangrove areas, 11 forest reserves, 8 biological reserves, and 21 additional conservation sites. Two national parks were also declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

Visitors from around the globe come to Costa Rica specifically to see the country’s amazing flora and fauna. Many species living here are endangered and near extinction. Some are found nowhere else on earth.
