- You must have a valid driver s license that has been issued for at least two years.
- If your license is written in a non-Romanic language, you must also present an international driving permit.
- You must have an original passport with a valid Costa Rica entry stamp.
- Costa Rican citizens must have a current Cedula ID.
- A credit card issued by a major provider such as Mastercard or VISA is needed to cover the vehicle security deposit.
- The rental can be paid for with either your credit card or debit card*. (*Some conditions apply) Cash is not accepted.
- Included in your rental rate is Costa Rica’s mandatory third-party liability coverage. This fee is non-negotiable and required by law.

Tips for driving in Nosara, Costa Rica
